Green Feels Good
At Paula Austin Designs we care about the impact that each of us have on the environment and are finding new ways to bring sustainability to our business and personal life.
We power our home office with Renewable Power from PGE. Green Source™ electricity is approximately 85 percent new wind power and 15 percent new biomass (wood waste) power. Clean Wind™ comes from wind farms in Oregon, Washington and California, as well as Idaho, Wyoming and/or Montana.
Our web hosting is green. Dreamhost is a carbon-neutral web hosting company.
Read about their green hosting efforts.
We also do electronic billing to minimize our use of paper. And in those cases when we do need to print something, we use recycled paper.
We opted out of every printed catalog possible. Online is better!
We recycle every bit of paper/plastic that we can.
We buy our fruits and vegetables through an organic delivery service.
We compost our food scraps.
And we buy renewable energy.
It feels good.
